Wow two posts in one day a record for me eh?

Theme

I modified the blackout-red theme I use here into the blackout theme I am releasing for hugo. With the blackout theme you can control the border color. Theme should work on most recent hugo versions but will work on hugo version 0.152.2 without issue. Find bugs or want to submit fixes you can do that on gitlab with the links below. If you have ideas to make it better then let me know on gitlab.

What it looks like with purple borders (Can be changed in hugo.toml

Install

Download from the link below or clone from gitlab.

Add the blackout folder to your themes directory and activate it by adding it to your hugo.toml file

theme = 'blackout'

Config

Change the border color by chaning the color switch in the params using hex (Red would be #FF0000).

[params.blackoutVariant]
  # Change the border colors. "Red = #FF0000" can change this to about what ever you want!.
  color = '#4B0082'

Header

The header can be edited by editing the the header.html file in:

/layouts/_partials/header.html

Blocks

The right side blocks can be edited by editing the block.html partial in

/layouts/_partials/blocks.html

Home Page

The home page can be edited by editing the home.html in

/layouts/home.html

Menu

Header menu can be changed by editing the hugo.toml file menu param

Issues

Not sure of any at this moment but it is version 1.0 so who knows, if you find one let me know or you can fix it and push it to me and I will add it.
